Tilman Porschuetz is an artist whose work spans image-making, light installations, music, writing, engineering, and numerous other disciplines. His work is imagining a technological vision and developing the means to imagine creative exciting futures in a world dominated by corporations.
Porschuetz’s work has had one-person exhibitions at Platoon Kunsthalle, Seoul, Shanghai Photography Fare and Neues Museum, Weimar and participated in group exhibitions the ZKM Karlsruhe (Center for Art and Media), the Ekaterinburg Museum of Art, the Gwangju Biennale, and numerous other venues. He has launched an artwork into the App store orbit around Earth in collaboration with VJ Fader, curated numerous musical and audio visual releases at Shalom Salon Open Source Net-Label.
Porschuetz is founder and active member in pioneer electronic musical groups that bridge experimental genres and pop industry. In 2014 he founded WEAREPICTURES, a production and planning agency to privately fund his entrepreneurial and artistic endeavours.
He is awarded with the App Art Award by ZKM and the Central German Radio Play Award.
Porschuetz holds a Dipl.Des. from Bauhaus University, Weimar.
